Today's installment of Bread Fridays features these delicious little nuggets called Chinos. They can come with chocolate morsels, or with nuts, or with nothing on top. I actually like the ones with nothing the most, but the picture isn't as interesting. They are sweet, and moist, and soft. They remind me a little bit of a cupcake, but they are much larger. My favorite part is the vanilla flavor inside. Delicious!
If you'd like to see other creations from the amazing Mexican bakers I've encountered in my travels throughout Mexico, and have featured in my Bread Fridays series, find estropajos, cacahuates, bolillos, orejas, libros, conchas and soles at each of these links.
Have a yummy day!
