I've spent a lot of time traveling back and forth between Mexico and the United States this year, and I just can't stop taking pictures of the amazing Mexican breads. So I thought it would be fun to start a feature called Bread Fridays. Each Friday, I plan to share a different wonderful bread I've found in my wanderings through Mexico. I hope you enjoy them!
This week's featured bread is called “estropajo.” Isn't it beautiful!? I love the multiple layers of golden brown goodness. It's really lovely dipped in hot chocolate, too.
I love getting them when they are still warm and soft. Amazing.
Enjoy!
