A couple of weeks ago I was at the ABC studios for a chance to see a taping of the new special series, Celebrity Family Feud, which premieres tonight, June 21st at 8 ET/PT.
It was fascinating to watch the production live, all those cameras, and how the cameramen seemed to float by effortlessly while carrying over-sized cameras. I enjoyed it all, the audience, laughing with host Steve Harvey, and being entertained by the celebrities, of course!
The audience adds so much to the show, but also enjoys itself during the off air time, too, dancing, clapping, interacting, it’s very hard not to get on your feet and dance along with them.
Steve Harvey (@IAmSteveHarvey) is charming and truly funny, and during the off-air segments he joined the audience and gave us a few tips from his own experience to help us have a more rewarding life, which he has become quite good at. I was taking notes.
Finally, the celebrities! We got to see the game between Vicki Lawrence and Ed Asner, in a word, hilarious! But I’m not telling too much because I want you to see it for yourself.
Anyway, don’t miss tonight’s 1-hour premiere episode when Anthony (@anthonyanderson) Anderson’s (“black-ish”) family plays 7-time Grammy Award-winning artist Toni Braxton (@tonibraxton) and her sisters; then, in a separate game, family members from Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone (@curtis_stone) and actress Monica Potter (@monicapotter) will spar off against each other to win money for the charity of their choice.
