A New Heroine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Disney and superhero fans rejoice! A new heroine arrives in the Marvel Cinematic Universe next year. To be exact, Friday, March 8th, 2019, which is International Women's Day. Fantastic, right!?

To me, as both a superhero fan and a woman, this is very exciting!

Remember when I walked the red carpet premiere for Avengers Infinity War? Well, that same week a group of 25 bloggers, including me, had a walk-through the set of Captain Marvel in Los Angeles.

It was a secret mission, and what we saw and heard there had to be kept secret. Except for the details below, that's all I am allowed to say for now, but stay tuned, I'll bring you more soon.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes.

While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.

The film stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
