Last year was the first time we took our kids camping, it was an amazing experience, they got to enjoy the outdoors and I got to enjoy some peace and quiet. We had no phone, no computer, no electronic devices of any kind, it was just nature and us. It was beautiful!
This year we are planning and getting ready to do it again. How about you? Have you gone camping with your kids? How was it?
If you haven’t, or if you are feeling a little overwhelmed by the idea of it, how about starting slowly?
Today, I have a tip for you:
The Great American Backyard Campout!
By Presidential proclamation, June is Great Outdoors Month and June 23rd is the 8th annual Great American Backyard Campout.
What’s it all about?
It’s a day when families get out of their homes and either go to a nearby campsite or take their tents and campout in their own backyards, a lovely night under the stars.
