Happy Easter

Our Mexican tradition of making cascarones has always fascinated me. I love the colors, the process of making them, and the fun of smashing them on my relatives' heads. I have fond memories of my family taking me to the jardín alongside all my cousins and setting us loose to run and play and crush our cascarones. These were the Easter egg activities I experienced as a child.

Hunting for Easter Eggs was new to me when I moved to the United States, and I enjoy watching my kids hunt Easter Eggs, too, it always puts a smile on my face.

Cascarones and Easter Eggs are so popular they have inspired many other crafts and activities. Here is a roundup of just a few I put together for you to enjoy. Gather up the kids and have fun!
