I just found out about an event that may be of interest to you if you are thinking of starting a business in Mexico.
Mexico Emprende Expo takes place this weekend August 19th to the 21st, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Expo will feature free information about resources the Mexican government has put in place to help Mexicans overseas who wish to start a business in Mexico.
It’s well known that thousands of Mexican families are living in the United States and a lot of them send money to family down in Mexico. The expo also features:

Disclosure: I´m being compensated for my work in creating content for the México Today Program. I was also invited to an all-expense paid trip to Oaxaca as part of my role. All stories, opinions, and passion for all things México shared here are completely my own. The program is designed to shine a light on the Mexico that its people experience every day.
