Me pasó varias veces :)
  • Resistente a bajas temperaturas max. -10ºC  (14 ºF)

ENGLISH

I have a new love!  No, it’s not a person.   No, it’s not a pet, it’s something small, fits in almost any purse or pocket, is super resistant, easy to use and it captures my family beautifully.   Can you guess what it is?

I’ve been using a new camera for the last three weeks and I’m loving it.  It is so cool even my kids want to “play” with it.  Usually I say no (to such request) but this camera is resistant to water, cold, sand, and falls, so I said, “why not?”   My kids are already developing some photography skills (I’m the mom, what can I say?)  and I love to see how they see things. :)   Let me show you some pics taken by my 2 year old:

Isn’t it fun?  Let me tell you a little bit more about the Fujifilm FinePix XP10

  • Waterproof up to 3m underwater
  • Shockproof, it can survive a 1 m (3.3 ft.) fall
  • Freezeproof, great for winter activities (max. -10ºC) 14 ºF
  • Dustproof, yes, we are talking beaches and outdoors!
  • Incorporates 5x Zoom lens, 12 megapixels and image stability
  • Of course it takes video
  • More than 15 shooting modes
  • Easy editing & easy web uploading to youtube, facebook and blogs!
  • And more!

There are lots of things I love about this camera, I will mention three, I love the shooting mode where I take one picture but the camera takes it twice, one with flash and one without, isn’t that cool?   The FinePix XP10 comes with a battery charger, and is so easy to use even a 2 year old can do it!!  It’s so small it takes almost no space in my purse so I can take it everywhere.  Well, I guess that’s  4 things, o well, I got carried away!   This is just a perfect little camera for moms!!

Also may make bloggers happy :)  I took it on my trip to BlogHer and everyone who took a picture of my friends and me with it asked, “what kind of camera is this?”  It was pretty funny.

GIVEAWAY

Yes, you read it right, there is a giveaway!!  Fujifilm has generously offered a green FinePix XP10 (like the pic) to one (1) lucky Mama Latina Tips reader, woooo hoooo!  Participation couldn’t be easier, just go to the Fujifilm website, read a little bit about this fabulous camera, come back and tell me something you learned about it in your comment, that’s it, that’s your required entry.  Now, after that and if you would like more opportunities to win, check out my extra entries page, then come back and leave a comment per option you complete, so I can count all of them.

This giveaway will end on Saturday, Sept 11th, at 11:59 PST.  Open to US residents only.  Winner will be randomly chosen.  Void where prohibited.  Please no PO Boxes. Sponsor will send the camera directly to the winner.  Have fun and good luck!

Disclosure:  I received a camera to facilitate my review, all opinions are solely my own.

What I like the most about this point-and-shoot camera is its ability to use a flash-fill mode where the photos appear to be in a more natural light instead of artificial light.
