Garlic Butter Shrimp

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 garlic cloves peeled and finely chopped
- 1 lb raw medium shrimp peeled and deveined
- 6 fresh Italian parsley sprigs finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon juice to taste optional
- Lemon wedges on the side optional
Melt butter in a hot pan. Lower temperature to medium-high, add garlic and cook for 30-40 seconds stirring constantly until lightly golden.
Add shrimp and cook until pink, the time depends on the size of the shrimp and how many are in the pan. Try to avoid having too many in the pan. You don't want to steam them. Be sure to cook both sides.
