Acomp\u00e1\u00f1alos con <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/es\/2014\/12\/atole-de-limon.html\" target=\"_blank\">atole de lim\u00f3n<\/a> o <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/es\/2012\/04\/agua-de-jamaica.html\" target=\"_blank\">agua de jamaica<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tamales de Puerco en Salsa Verde<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Aproximadamente&nbsp;35 tamales<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredientes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Para el relleno<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 libras de carne de puerco&nbsp;para deshebrar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;hojas de laurel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 pimientas enteras<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3&nbsp;cucharaditas de sal, divididas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 libras de tomatillos,&nbsp;pelados y lavados<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 chiles jalape\u00f1o,&nbsp;desvenados<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4&nbsp;dientes de ajo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/4&nbsp;de cebolla blanca<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;manojo grande de cilantro, lavado<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Para la masa<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4\u00a0tazas de harina para tamales o para tortillas, mi favorita es <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/masiendastore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Masienda<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cucharaditas de sal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2&nbsp;cucharaditas de polvo para hornear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 2\/3&nbsp;tazas de caldo de la carne de puerco<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 1\/3&nbsp;tazas de manteca vegetal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Utensilios<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 (8 oz)&nbsp;paquete de hojas de ma\u00edz para tamal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tamalera u olla grande con hervidor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1&nbsp;servilleta o toalla de tela de cocina<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cubre 40-45 hojas para tamal con agua caliente, coloca una olla pesada encima para asegurarte que todas se cubran con el agua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9jalas en remojo por 45 minutos. Si haces el relleno con anticipaci\u00f3n no remojes las hojas sino hasta el d\u00eda en que har\u00e1s los tamales.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/hojas-de-tamal-mamalatinatips.jpg\" alt=\"Hojas de tamal by mamalatinatips.com\" class=\"wp-image-9209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/hojas-de-tamal-mamalatinatips.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/hojas-de-tamal-mamalatinatips-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/hojas-de-tamal-mamalatinatips-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prepara la Carne de Puerco en Chile Verde<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca la carne de puerco, hojas de laurel, pimienta y dos cucharaditas de sal en una olla de presi\u00f3n, cubre y cuece la carne de acuerdo a las instrucciones del manual de tu olla. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si no tienes olla express puedes usar&nbsp;una olla de cocci\u00f3n lenta o una olla grande con tapa, pero el cocimiento tomar\u00e1 un poco m\u00e1s de tiempo. Al final debes tener carne&nbsp;que se desmenuce f\u00e1cilmente y el menos 3 tazas de caldo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saca la carne del caldo, pero guarda el caldo&nbsp;para el momento de hacer la masa de los tamales. A\u00f1ade la carne de puerco deshebrada, prueba y ajusta&nbsp;de sal. Cuando la salsa comience a hervir, tapa, baja la temperatura y cocina por 20 minutos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuela las hojas de tamal. Ver\u00e1s que vienen en varios tama\u00f1os, usa las m\u00e1s grandes para los tamales y algunas de las peque\u00f1as para hacer los cordones para atar los tamales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prepara los Tamales<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mezcla harina de tamal, sal y polvo para hornear. Vac\u00eda el caldo de la carne y mezcla hasta integrar todos los ingredientes muy bien. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca la manteca vegetal en un recipiente hondo grande y con la batidora, bate hasta que se suavice y esponje un poco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00f1ade la mezcla de harina de tamal y con tus manos mezcla todos los ingredientes por unos 5-7 minutos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mezcla se sentir\u00e1 un poco arenosa y estar\u00e1 h\u00fameda y con una consistencia que la har\u00e1 f\u00e1cil de untar. Si usas harina para tortillas la consistencia ser\u00e1 menos arenosa y m\u00e1s cremosa. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/masa-de-tamal-mamalatinatips.jpg\" alt=\"masa para tamal - mamalatinatips.com\" class=\"wp-image-9203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/masa-de-tamal-mamalatinatips.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/masa-de-tamal-mamalatinatips-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/masa-de-tamal-mamalatinatips-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Toma una de las hojas&nbsp;peque\u00f1as de tamal y con tus dedos r\u00f3mpela a lo largo para formar los cordones para atar los tamales, contin\u00faa hasta que tengas 35.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toma una de las hojas de tamal y esparce&nbsp;1-2 cucharadas de la mezcla para tamal en la parte m\u00e1s ancha de la hoja&nbsp;dejando un par de cent\u00edmetros libres&nbsp;en la parte superior y en una de las orillas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca una cucharada del relleno justo en el centro, cierra el tamal asegur\u00e1ndote que la masa cubre el relleno, luego&nbsp;dobla la parte angosta hacia arriba y ata con uno de los cordones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repite hasta que termines con toda la masa de tamal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pon agua en el fondo de la tamalera o hervidor, aseg\u00farate que el agua no pase por los agujeros ya que los tamales no deben estar en contacto directo con el agua. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cubre el fondo del &#8220;colador&#8221; con algunas de las hojas de ma\u00edz sobrantes, despu\u00e9s, uno a uno, coloca los tamales en forma vertical con el lado abierto hacia arriba. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cubre con m\u00e1s hojas de tamal (si a\u00fan tienes) y finalmente con la servilleta de tela de cocina h\u00fameda. Te recomiendo que uses unas pinzas para sacar los tamales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los tamales estar\u00e1n listos cuando f\u00e1cilmente se despeguen de la hoja de ma\u00edz. Si notas que&nbsp;est\u00e1n pegajosos, cocina por unos 10 minutos m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sirve con salsa verde picosa encima si as\u00ed lo deseas, acompa\u00f1a con un <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mamalatinatips.com\/es\/2014\/12\/atole-de-limon.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">atolito<\/a> o <a Coloca la manteca vegetal en un recipiente hondo grande y con la batidora, bate hasta que se suavice y esponge un poco. A\u00f1ade la mezcla de harina de tamal y con tus manos mezcla todos los ingredientes por unos 5-7 minutos. La mezcla se sentir\u00e1 un poco arenosa y estar\u00e1 h\u00fameda y con una consistencia que la har\u00e1 f\u00e1cil de untar.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-26353-step-2-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Toma una de las hojas\u00a0peque\u00f1as de tamal y con tus dedos r\u00f3mpela a lo largo para formar los cordones para atar los tamales, contin\u00faa hasta que tengas 35.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-26353-step-2-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Toma una de las hojas de tamal y esparce\u00a01-2 cucharadas de la mezcla para tamal en la parte m\u00e1s ancha de la hoja\u00a0dejando un par de cent\u00edmetros libres\u00a0en la parte superior y en una de las orillas. Coloca una cucharada del relleno justo en el centro, cierra el tamal asegur\u00e1ndote que la masa cubre el relleno, luego\u00a0dobla la parte angosta hacia arriba y ata con uno de los cordones. Repite hasta que termines con toda la masa de tamal.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-26353-step-2-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Pon agua en el fondo de la tamalera o hervidor, aseg\u00farate que el agua no pase por los agujeros ya que los tamales no deben estar en contacto directo con el agua. Cubre el fondo del &#8220;colador&#8221; con algunas de las hojas de ma\u00edz sobrantes, despu\u00e9s, uno a uno, coloca los tamales en forma vertical con el lado abierto hacia arriba. Cubre con m\u00e1s hojas de tamal (si a\u00fan tienes) y finalmente con la servilleta de tela de cocina h\u00fameda. Tapa y cuando el agua empiece a hervir, baja la temperatura (asegurandote que sigue hirviendo pero lentamente) y cocina a vapor por una hora. Te recomiendo que cheques el fondo de la tamalera un par de veces durante el cocimiento para asegurarte que el agua no se ha evaporado, de ser as\u00ed agrega m\u00e1s agua caliente. Despu\u00e9s de la hora, apaga la estufa y deja reposar por unos 10 minutos.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-26353-step-2-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Por favor ten cuidado cuando abras la tamalera, el vapor es sumamente caliente. Te recomiendo que uses unas pinzas para sacar los tamales.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-26353-step-2-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Los tamales estar\u00e1n listos cuando f\u00e1cilmente se despeguen de la hoja de ma\u00edz.
