En un taz\u00f3n mezcla el az\u00facar, el jugo de lim\u00f3n y el color rojo. Reposa 10 minutos para permitir que la levadura se active. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Revuelve harina, az\u00facar y sal en una superficie lisa y limpia. Al principio la mezcla estar\u00e1 pegagosa pero conforme sigues amasando el gluten comienza a formarse y se empieza a separar de tus manos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La consistencia de la masa depende principalmente del clima y la humedad. Si sientes la masa muy dura o seca, puedes a\u00f1adir un poco de agua. La masa estar\u00e1 lista cuando llegue a una consistencia tersa. Toma un poco de aceite en tus manos y &#8220;soba&#8221; la superficie de la masa (esto evitar\u00e1 que se seque) y cubre con una toalla de cocina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca el taz\u00f3n en un lugar sin corrientes de aire y deja reposar por 10 minutos. Mientras esperas engrasa dos charolas para hornear grandes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forma el Pan<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Pasados los 10 minutos, toma un cuchillo y corta la masa en 8 partes. Apachurra una de las orillas para formar una especie de cabeza. Cuando empiece a hervir, baja la temperatura de manera tal que el agua siga hirviendo constantemente pero suavemente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca las claras de huevo y el az\u00facar en un taz\u00f3n resistente a altas temperaturas que sea un poco m\u00e1s grande de la olla donde pusiste el agua ya que ir\u00e1 sentada sobre ella. Posiblemente el taz\u00f3n de tu batidora funcione. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca el taz\u00f3n sobre la olla con el agua caliente y mueve las claras con el az\u00facar constantemente hasta que el az\u00facar se disuelva completamente y la mezcla, usando el term\u00f3metro de l\u00edquidos, refleje una temperatura consistente de 175 \u00b0F (80 \u00b0C). Mientras esperas engrasa dos charolas para hornear grandes.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-group\"><h4 class=\"wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold\">Forma el Pan<\/h4><ul class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\"><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Pasados los 10 minutos, toma un cuchillo y corta la masa en 8 partes. Forma una bolita con cada una de ellas.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Toma una bolita, y con tus manos al\u00e1rgala hasta que tome una forma como de almendra. Apachurra una de las orillas para formar una especie de cabeza. (mira la foto).<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Usando el rodillo, aplana la masa. Haz un par de cortes transversales a cada lado del pan, como formando &#8220;brazos&#8221;. Toma uno, j\u00e1lalo y col\u00f3calo hacia en medio. Repite con el otro, la forma se ver\u00e1 como si estuviera de &#8220;brazos cruzados&#8221;.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Divide las piezas de pan entre las dos charolas para hornear dejando espacio entre uno y otro.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">C\u00fabrelos con pl\u00e1stico, dejando espacio entre el pl\u00e1stico y la masa. Deja leudar en un lugar calientito y sin corrientes de aire hasta que doblen su volumen.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Tip: Calienta el horno ligeramente, no m\u00e1s de 100 \u00b0F o 38 \u00b0C. Ap\u00e1galo y coloca el pan dentro. Cierra y espera, esto puede tomar de 1.5 a 2.5 horas dependiendo de la temperatura y humedad del lugar donde vives.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-2-6\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Cuando hayan crecido, precalienta el horno a 350 \u00b0F (180 \u00b0C) y hornea de 18-20 minutos o hasta que tomen un color ligeramente dorado. Deja enfriar.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-group\"><h4 class=\"wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold\">Prepara el Merengue<\/h4><ul class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\"><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-3-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Vac\u00eda agua en la olla, aproximadamente unos 5 cent\u00edmetros (2.5 pulgadas) de altura y calienta sobre la estufa. Cuando empiece a hervir, baja la temperatura de manera tal que el agua siga hirviendo constantemente pero suavemente.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-3-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Coloca las claras de huevo y el az\u00facar en un taz\u00f3n resistente a altas temperaturas que sea un poco m\u00e1s grande de la olla donde pusiste el agua ya que ir\u00e1 sentada sobre ella. Posiblemente el taz\u00f3n de tu batidora funcione.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-3-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Coloca el taz\u00f3n sobre la olla con el agua caliente y mueve las claras con el az\u00facar constantemente hasta que el az\u00facar se disuelva completamente y la mezcla, usando el term\u00f3metro de l\u00edquidos, refleje una temperatura consistente de 175 \u00b0F (80 \u00b0C). Esto tomar\u00e1 unos 10 minutos.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-3-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Retira del fuego y con la batidora bate hasta que las claras tomen un color blanco, crezcan y formen una consistencia pegajosa, como bomb\u00f3n derretido. M\u00e1s o menos 5 minutos de batido a alta velocidad.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-3-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Agrega el jugo de lim\u00f3n y bate medio minuto m\u00e1s.<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-group\"><h4 class=\"wprm-recipe-group-name wprm-recipe-instruction-group-name wprm-block-text-bold\">Adorna el Pan<\/h4><ul class=\"wprm-recipe-instructions\"><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-4-0\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Aseg\u00farate que el pan est\u00e9 fr\u00edo antes de adornar.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-43187-step-4-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\">Toma un pan y &#8220;barniza&#8221; con el merengue.
