Esta receta naci\u00f3 cuando andaba en b\u00fasqueda de un pay de manzana similar a uno que mi esposo me compraba en Trader Joe's cuando estaba embarazada de mi primer hijo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Ese pay fue \u00a1amor al primer bocado! Si tienes el tiempo, los ingredientes y las ganas te aconsejo prepararla. Inmediatamente agrega el jugo de lim\u00f3n y jengibre. Revuelve bien hasta que todas las rebanadas se cubran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00f1ade la mezcla de az\u00facar y harinas y revuelve nuevamente hasta que cubrir todas las rebanadas. Rellena con las manzanas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coloca las piezas de mantequilla en forma aleatoria sobre las manzanas y cubre con la otra base de pay. Con tus dedos, o con un tenedor, apachurra las dos bases juntas para cerrar el centro por completo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haz algunos cortes con un cuchillo encima para permitir que el vapor escape y espolvor\u00e9a las dos cucharadas de az\u00facar encima para un terminado crujiente (si as\u00ed lo deseas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toma un par de hojas de papel aluminio y cubre toda la orilla de la masa o base para el pay, esto&nbsp;las proteger\u00e1 del calor&nbsp;y evitar\u00e1 que se quemen.
