This weekend at the Mexican American Festival at Forest Lawn Museum in Glendale, California, catch screenings of The Book of LIfe, produced by Guillermo del Toro, and Even the Wind is Afraid, starring Martha Higareda on Oct 28th and 29th, respectively.

The screenings are sponsored by Mexico’s Cultural Channel in the United States, Canal 22, and curtain time is 3pm on both days.

Opportunities like this are energized by Day of the Dead: Celebrating the Colors of Life, an initiative from Forest Lawn Museum, in coordination with the General Consulate of Mexico, Michoacán’s state government, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the General Consulate of Guatemala, and Canal 22.

For more information, check out Canal 22 on Facebook and visit www.canal22.org.mx/internacional
