Premio Lo Nuestro 2013 at American Airlines Arena, Miami Fl, February 21st.

Over the last few days I’ve been covering the Premio Lo Nuestro award show. How could I not when there is so much great music, beauty and fashion involved?  I got ahold of some beauty how-to’s of the stars, and so today I’m sharing this one with you.

Did you see Maite Perroni’s awesome silky hair? Her glam look was created by Gabriel Samra, celebrity hairstylist for Pantene. Here is how he did it step by step, so you can do it at home:

Step 1: First, Gabriel blew her hair dry while using a big round brush to straighten from root to tip.

Step 2: Once dry, he separated her hair into top and bottom layers, clipping the top layer to keep it out of the way. Then, he sectioned the bottom layer into 2-inch sections and sprayed with Pantene Pro-V Stylers Heat Protection Spray to protect from heat damage and to enhance shine. Using a flat iron, he straightened each section from root to tip, taking 3-5 seconds per section. Once the bottom layer of her hair was completely flattened, he repeated the above steps on the top layer.

Step 3: For the finishing touches, he used a comb to smooth and place Maite’s hair in the desired place. Finally, he sprayed  Pantene Pro-V Stylers Flexible Hold Hair Spray throughout, because its flexible hold maintains hair’s natural movement and makes the look seem effortless.

It sound fairly easy, don’t you think?

Have fun.
