Did you know National Hispanic Heritage Week began in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan to a 30-day period, starting on Sept. 15 and ending on Oct. 15? I did not know that!
Well here’s another great tip and a great reason to head to Vegas this week!
Caesars Entertainment resorts, including Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Flamingo Las Vegas and more, will provide a full month of activities, concerts and other events that focus on Hispanic culture.
Joe Ripoll, from Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas, says it best,“With a collection of the world’s most authentic Mariachi bands and Latin music superstar Luis Miguel performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, this year’s celebration is bound to be full of excitement. We look forward to celebrating with all who come out to join us.”
Las Vegas International Mariachi Festival
