¿Has escuchado hablar de LEGOLAND? Sólo necesitas imaginarte un mundo lleno de legos, atracciones, agua y entretenimiento. LEGOLAND se encuentra en Carlsbad Ca, entre LA y San Diego. Nosotros no lo conocemos, pero hemos escuchado tantas cosas buenas sobre el parque que ya lo agregué a mi lista de lugares para visitar con los niños. Shhh no le digas a mis hijos, ellos ni siquiera saben que existe, esperaremos el momento adecuado para darles la sorpresa.
Anoche las luces del árbol de LEGOLAND fueron encendidas. Desde hoy y hasta el 31 de diciembre del 2010 podrás disfrutar la vista de este gigantesco árbol de más de 30 pies de altura hecho con más de 245,000 bloques verdes DUPLO y decorado con mas de 240 adornos, ¿adivina de qué? ¡pues legos!
Pero esto no es todo, como parte de Holly Jolly Holidays, LEGOLAND tiene preparado un arcoiris de actividades. El parque se convierte en una maravillosa escena decembrina con entretenimiento cada fin de semana, coros, elfos, músicos, un musical decembrino y fuegos artificiales (del 26 al 30 de diciembre) forman parte de ella.
“Let It Snow” – 20 de nov. al 31 de dic (Playtown Theater)
Este encantador mini musical regresa con una tierna historia de navidad. Comparte con Emily, una pequeña de 10 años de edad que está en la espera de cierta magia navideña. Los juguetes de Emily toman vida para ayudarla a realizar su sueño, ¡nevar!! ¿Acaso el clima cambiará en el Sur de California para cumplir el sueño de Emily? El musical dura 20 minutos y presenta la canción caracteristica del parque: “Season of Imagination.”
Nightly Tree Lightings – del 2 al 24 de diciembre
Cada noche durante estas fechas un afortunado niño sera seleccionado al azar para ayudar a prender las luces del árbol de navidad.
Holiday Fireworks – del 26 al 30 de diciembre
Exactamente a las 7 de la noche durante estos días, un despliegue de fuegos pirotécnicos inundará el cielo de LEGOLAND California. Canciones de la temporada son la base para la coreografía de este bello despliegue. El mejor lugar para disfrutarlos es en Miniland U.S.A. donde además podrás ver cada ciudad en miniatura decorada de navidad.
Diciembre 31 es La Celebración del Año Nuevo para Niños!
La media noche llega a LEGOLAND justo a las 6 de la tarde. La cuenta regresiva termina con un gigantesco blogue LEGO cayendo a una altura de 22 pies seguido de fuegos artificiales. La fiesta comienza desde las 4 de la tarde y tendrá la presentación de Justin Roberts y los Not Ready for Naptime Players.

Have you heard of LEGOLAND? Just imagine a world full of legos, and rides, and water, and entertainment. LEGOLAND is located in Carlsbad, Ca, between LA and San Diego in Southern California. We have never been there, but we’ve heard so many good things about it, it is on our list of places to visit. Shhhh! Don’t tell my boys, they don’t even know it exists, we are just waiting for the perfect time to surprise them.
Yesterday, Legoland’s annual tree lighting took place, so from now until Dec. 31st, you can enjoy the lights and the giant tree standing more than 30-feet-tall and made of more than 245,000 forest green DUPLO bricks and decorated with more than 240 lego ornaments!
But that’s not all, LEGOLAND has prepared a rainbow of events for its Holly Jolly Holidays. The theme park transforms into a holiday wonderland featuring festive entertainment every weekend complete with carolers, elves, and strolling musicians, plus nightly fireworks Dec. 26th through the 30th, and a holiday musical.
“Let It Snow” – Nov. 20th to Dec. 31st (Playtown Theater)
An enchanting mini musical returns with a holiday story that is sure to warm guests’ hearts. Share in the spirit of the holidays with 10-year-old Emily as she wishes for some holiday magic! Emily’s toys spring to life in a musical celebration as they help her realize her Yuletide wish – snow! Will the weather forecast change in southern California just for Emily? The 20 minute musical holiday show features the Park’s signature song, “Season of Imagination.”
Nightly Tree Lightings – Dec. 2nd to 24th
LEGOLAND California hosts nightly tree lighting ceremonies Dec. 2 through Dec. 24 at park close where a lucky child will be randomly selected from the audience to help pull the switch that lights up the LEGO Christmas tree.
Holiday Fireworks – Dec. 26th to 30th
At 7 pm a stunning display of fireworks lights up the sky over LEGOLAND California. The festive fireworks are choreographed to holiday songs from around the world. The best viewing spot is Miniland U.S.A. which is also decked out for the season with holiday scenes in every miniature city.
December 31st – Kids’ New Year’s Eve!
Midnight strikes at 6 p.m. in LEGOLAND California Kids’ New Year’s Eve featuring a countdown followed by a huge LEGO brick dropping 22-feet into 2011 and a dazzling fireworks display. The party begins at 4 p.m. and includes performances by Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players.
