Worx tools giveaway

So I’m celebrating Father’s Day this year with a fantastic giveaway featuring two wonderful tools for making work easier in the yard, no matter who does it!

The first tool is the new WORX AeroCart, a multi-purpose cart that can be used for dozens of moving projects around the house, yard or workplace. AeroCart’s dual-position wheels handle the work of eight other tools including a wheelbarrow, hand truck/dolly, extended dolly, bag holder, cylinder holder, rock mover, plant mover, and trailer dolly. We took it for a test around our yard and, in just a snap, we completed some heavy tasks we’d been avoiding for quite awhile.

Worx Tools AerocartThe first thing we tested was its plant moving feature. The terracotta pot below is very heavy and bulky. We just wrapped the specially designed strap around the pot and attached it to the extension bars. Then, with just a bit of downward pressure on the handles, up the pot went. The beauty of the physics of leverage, right? We tried it on different sized pots and it worked great with all of them as the strap is easily adjustable. We thought this was an especially useful and unique feature of the tool.

We liked the wheelbarrow feature especially for it stability and load balance. The tub is deepest right over the two wheels and we could feel how it benefited from that design with no side to side movement like a standard wheelbarrow can have.

Of course it also worked great as a dolly and it has an attachment for moving cylinders like this water bottle (We have the back legs extended for the pictures, but they can be folded up in dolly mode like the picture at the top of this post.) It also has an attachment for bags. My husband moved this large bit of concrete that got left behind after some recent construction with no problems.

We also tested the rock mover and, although we didn’t have a rock large enough to test it to its full potential, it performed well.

Worx Tools 2.0 GT TrimmerThe second tool included in the giveaway is the WORX 20-volt GT, a grass trimmer, edger and mini-mower, powered by a lithium-ion battery. It cuts a 12 inch swath and has a telescoping shaft. The Trimmer’s head tilts 90 degrees to trim under decks, shrubs and other obstacles. A twist of the wrist converts the trimmer into a wheeled, walk-behind edger for sidewalks, drives and patios.

Worx Tools 2.0 V GT TrimmerIn the mini-mower position, it mows at a three-inch height ideal for places like berms and ditches.

The WORX GT 20-volt Trimmer/ Edger/Mini-mower is ($119.99, WG160) and is available at worx.com, Lowes.com and Amazon.

Look for more pictures and get more information about Worx on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter.

What I like most about the Aerocart is that it instantly converts from a wheelbarrow to a dolly and more. Many times, we’ve needed a cart and we have to borrow one. This is really a great idea and a great space saver too.

What I like most about the GT20 Trimmer, is that it has a long lasting battery and can do more than one job.

Both these items are really great and would make wonderful gifts for my husband or Dad. Thanks so much.

I love that with the Worx 20-volt GT I can trim grass, edge my yard and use it as a mini mower.
I love that with the Worx AeroCart I can use it as a wheel barrow , use it as a bag holder in the fall for bagging leaves, as a dolly to help transport heavy items and as a cylinder holder.

Aerocart has 400% more lifting power when compared to a traditional wheelbarrow. The WORX GT 2.0 is a powerful grass trimmer, a precision edger, and even a mini-mower — all in one lightweight, maneuverable, cordless machine.

I like that the aerocart has a patented design that adjusts the center of gravity for a balanced and easy-to-manage load and the trimmer converts from a trimmer to an edger or mini-mower in just seconds
