El Capitan Theater in Hollywood welcomed young and old last Tuesday, November 19th, for the world premier of the much-anticipated, Disney animated film, Frozen, which opens in theaters Wednesday, November 27, 2013. By some miracle, I was there, too! And here are the pictures to prove it! Enjoy the ride:
This is how El Capitan Theater looked a couple of hours before the premier.
Have you ever wondered what it looks like behind the scenes at a Red Carpet premier? Here’s a shot I took right before the big event. The papparazzi were located behind the metal barrier when the premier started.
And this is how the red, well, white carpet looked (there was real snow everywhere, piles and piles of it). Beautiful don’t you think?
The show started with a yummy cup of Ghirardelli hot chocolate, San Francisco’s best! There is a new Ghirardelli store right next to the El Capitan, next time you are around, stop by there for some chocolate, you’ll thank me later. Oh! and this is not just any store, there is a Disney Store inside.
Then I got to do the red carpet walk, thank you to my friend Yolanda from SassyMamainLA who took this great shot.
Inside the theater an organist played music from favorite Disney movies, it was lovely!
And then the after party featured ladies making ice sculptures, stations for making your own snow flakes, snow globes, an ice cream bar and games!!
Frozen is beautiful, with a story that will melt your heart. That’s all I’m going to say right now, but stay tuned, I’ll have many more details later. Remember it opens in theaters this Wednesday, November 27th. Follow Frozen in Facebook, Frozen in Pinterest and the hashtag #DisneyFrozenEvent for more up to the minute details.
(P.S. Check out the giveaway I just noticed at the address on the bottom right of the last photo. I have nothing to do with it, but it looks amazing!)
