This post comes courtesy of the great folks at Kimberly-Clark, who asked me to provide tips for helping parents stretch their budgets even further as part of their Pick Up The Values campaign. My comments, opinions, and love for tiny little feet are my own.

Next to milk, the first things that come to mind when thinking about caring for babies are diapers!! Diapers are a common gift at baby showers and I’ve yet to see an expecting mom disappointed about getting them.

I received loads of diapers during my multiple baby showers. I had to store them in closets, under the bed, and in the garage, but I was so grateful to have my stack when I needed them.

The truth is if you are going to have a baby soon, you are going to go through lots and lots and lots of diapers. They are going to be your best friends.

So how can we be most efficient with our time and our money while still getting the diapers we need?

Here are two quick tips for expecting moms:

1. First, parents can visit the Pick Up the Values web site to download valuable coupons from participating Kimberly-Clark brands, including Huggies diapers and wipes.

2. Next, consider signing up for a mom program.

I discovered Amazon Mom when I had my second son and I only wish I had known about it with my first. I subscribed and then ordered to have two boxes of diapers plus plenty of wipes delivered to my house every month. I saved a lot of time, money, and gas, and I was never out of diapers or wipes and I never needed to go to the store to get them.

If you don’t like the idea of a subscription, but you do like the idea of buying them online and having them delivered to your home, you can check out other online retailers like diapers.com, too.

I hope this helped.

Now, did you know this week is National Diaper Need Awareness Week? One in three moms in America don’t have enough diapers for their babies. Would you like to help?

To find out how, visit the Huggies Every Little Bottom program website.

And remember to visit Pick Up the Values to find coupons and the Pick Up the Values Facebook page to get lots of great tips for helping stretch your dollars.

Enjoy you baby,

P.S. There is still time to enter for the chance to win last week’s giveaway.
