This is part of a sponsored campaign with the California Milk Processor Board and Latina Mom Bloggers. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

Before I forget, did you get a chance to see the El Maestro Del Vaso Medio Lleno’s Facebook page yet. I mentioned it in yesterday’s post. If not, be sure to check it out, it’s very positive. If you did see it, did you see the post about “if it rains on your picnic…”?  I love that one! If you only knew how many times I’ve heard something like that from my husband.

The Show

The Premios Juventud award show has just ended. Did you get a chance to see it? I love music award shows especially because of the unusual, interesting, or just plain great musical collaborations that sometimes happen at them. Of course, sometimes it’s a disaster, but other times its a moment to remember. Part of the fun is not knowing how things will play out. I loved seeing J Lo and Pitbull together tonight for example.

Probably my favorite part of the show was J Lo’s receiving the Global Icon Award. Love her!

And of course I love the fashion, I think my favorite dresses of the night belonged to the lovely Thalía, radiant in white. And Antonietta Collins looked amazing in blue.

There’s a part of me that wishes all the nominees could win a trophy. Of course, in my book, they are all winners. I just hope those who didn’t win a trophy can see it that way, too. I mean as the glass half-full.

Well, I’m sure the after party is going to be quite a fiesta. Maybe the winners won’t even make it to bed tonight. They may just party on through the night. The one thing I do suggest to all you winners and nominees alike, when you do get around to calling it a night, even if it’s tomorrow night, make sure to have a delicious glass of milk before going to bed, it may just help you to have a better night’s sleep.

Some of the winners tonight may have felt like it was the perfect ending to a great childhood dream. Becoming a famous singer, being nominated, winning! Well, those great dreams, too, may have started with a delicious glass of milk just before going to bed, and in turn may have given them a better night’s sleep in which to dream those dreams.

I’m headed for my glass now.

Sweet dreams!
