On Monday, March 4th, 2013, a historical first Google+ Hangout will take place featuring First Lady Michelle Obama. The First Lady is kicking off a nation-wide tour to celebrate the third anniversary of the Let’s Move! Initiative, a program to help ensure that all our children grow up healthy and reach their full potential. One aim of the Hangout is to connect with communities on Google+ who are passionate about healthy eating, fitness and parenting. You are invited to listen in. The virtual conversation will include families from around the country and will be moderated by Kelly Ripa.
Three years ago, the First Lady launched the Let’s Move! initiative to unite the country around our kids’ health and create real support for families to live healthier lives. Since then communities across the United States have worked together to share, collaborate on and create ways to improve the health of our nation’s children.
Tune in to the First Lady’s Hangout live on the White House Google+ Page or Let’s Move! YouTube channel at 11:10 am ET on March 4th. What would you ask the First Lady about Let’s Move! or child health in America? I would like to know if the Let’s Move! initiative could be leveraged to encourage every school in the nation to have a kitchen garden.
I´ll see you there.
