Today’s toy, and the next in the Mama Latina TIps Watch It To Win It Holiday Event, is especially dear to my heart. I love this toy and so do my boys. In fact, when my 5 year old is away from it, he tells me he misses it! How’s that for a positive review?! This award winning toy is recommended for children 2 years and up. It’s name is the Fisher-Price Servin’ Surprises Kitchen & Table
It includes table with convertible stove top, removable oven, and a serving tray that talks–it recognizes the food on the tray and says things like,”Mmmm cookies!” Also, it comes with 4 slices of pizza with toppings, a pizza cutter, cookies and a cookie sheet, and 2 place settings including forks, spoons, cups and plates.
As a parent, you will love watching the creative, imaginative play this toy encourages. My boys love pretending they are running a restaurant–developing menus, pricing, making suggestions on what to order, cooking, delivering top notch customer service, and, of course, collecting the bill. Which brings me to another great feature of the table–it’s a great activity table for writing, drawing and coloring all those menus. Personally, I appreciate how this toy seems to magically cause my boys to play cooperatively together, now that’s amazing.
