As a mother of two school age children, nutrition and education deeply interest me.

That’s why I was so happy to read MomsRising.org, Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution team, and PreventObesity.net are co-hosting a tweet chat this Friday, June 15, at 9 am PT/ 12 p.m. ET. to talk about childhood obesity and the impact of junk foods sold in schools.

MomsRising.org has a social media reach of more than 3.5 million viewers. Let’s amplify the conversation about having healthier foods in our children’s schools.

If you have a question or comment to share ahead of time, please email Anita@momsrising.org with your question or comment as a tweet. (Try to fit it in 140 characters with the hashtag #NoMoreJunk.)

Here are the details:

DATE: Friday, June 15th, 2012

TIME: 9:00 AM PDT, 12:00 PM EDT
