The Muppets arrive in stores this Tuesday, March 20, 2012!
Disney’s The Muppets is in stores on Tuesday. If you get the Wocka Wocka value pack, it not only includes Blu-ray high definition, DVD, and a Digital Copy, but also a download card to get all the great songs from the soundtrack!
This fun and entertaining film stars Jason Segel, Oscar nominated Amy Adams, and Jack Black, in addition to your favorite Muppets including Kermit and Miss Piggy. The Muppets is jam packed with cameo appearances from stars and celebrities like Selena Gómez, Emily Blunt, Alan Arkin, Whoopi Goldberg, Neil Patrick Harris, James Carville, and Mickey Rooney, among others. In this episode, The Muppets fight to take back their namesake studio from the hands of Muppet hater and oil magnate, Tex Richman (Chris Cooper). Can they do it? They must reunite all the Muppets and organize a telethon super show in order to raise funds? Will they manage it?
I enjoyed the entire movie. Full of music, action, comedy, and dance numbers, it reminded me of my childhood when the Muppet show was still on TV. I especially enjoyed the Barber Shop Quartet singing Nirvana, and I loved the chickens. I even got a kick out of the intermission sequence that plays when you pause the Blu-ray version, which I discovered by accident (Make sure to explore this feature, it’s very fun).
The Wocka Wocka value pack also includes other special features like deleted scenes, bloopers, entertaining shorts, musical numbers, and many more fun things. Like all Disney movies, it comes with audio and subtitles in Spanish, English, and French.
