Hello from the wonderful conference for bloggers, Blissdom.
Want to know an easy way to help some of the more than 16 million children in America who face hunger each year? Conagra Foods, along with Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, have launched their Child Hunger Ends Here campaign and invite us all to join with them in helping to end child hunger in America.
How can you help?
If you have a twitter account, follow the #ChildHunger hashtag and @ConAgraFoods from today through Saturday, February 25th, 2012 (Blissdom Conference Days), and tweet using the #ChildHunger hashtag in your tweets. For every tweet using the hashtag, ConAgra Foods will donate 1 meal to Feeding America. How easy is that?
Also, you can continue helping each time you purchase products from participating ConAgra Foods brands and enter the code found on the packaging at www.ChildHungerEndsHere.com. Every code entered will trigger a donation of one meal to a family in need. This donation will be made through Feeding America’s network of food banks, up to a maximum of 3 million meals. Donations made by codes can be entered through August 31st, 2012.
You can find out more information about all of this at The Dish.
I’m also pleased to let you know I am a blogger panelist at The Dish through March 31st. I’ve written my first post called Ode to Chocolate and Other Winter Favorites. I invite you to check it out while cozying up to a cup of cocoa and finding out some more of my warm winter favorites.
Thanks for your continuing support in helping to end child hunger in America.
