Just For U at Vons and $50 Gift Card Giveaway

Here is a great tip if you have a Vons supermarket near where you live, work, or shop. Like you, I enjoy getting more for my money, so I like deals, sales, and coupons.  But I don’t consider myself an extreme couponer, in fact, there are more times when I forget my coupons at home than not.

So when I heard about the new program Vons just launched called, “Just for U,” I had to get all the info for my readers. What I can tell you is this:

Just For U is a targeted marketing program that provides personalized offers, coupons, weekly specials, and tools for each individual shopper.  It is like having your own personalized flyer.

• You won’t need to clip coupons
• You won’t forget your coupons at home, as they will be inside your Vons Card
• You will get special offers, just for you, based on your shopping history which is already on your Vons card

The process is easy:

1. Go to Vons.com and sign up for the program, have your Vons Card at hand (If you don’t have a card, go to your local store to sign up for your card first)
2. Click on Coupon Center (in the menu at the top of the page) and add coupons to your card
3. Click on Personalized Deals, these deals are just for you based on your shopping history.  Add the deals you want to your card.
4. Then click on Your Club Specials, it’s like an online flyer, and add the specials you like to your card
5. Finally, click on Your Savings List, where you will have the option to either print your shopping list or email it to yourself, which I like because it is very convenient if you have a smart phone and saves paper, ink, and keeps your hands free, too.
6. Go shopping and save!!

I tried it last week during a blogger event at Vons’ headquarters.  I signed in and added the coupons to my card (it took me only 5 minutes).   A column at the right hand side of their page displays categories in alphabetical order like, baby, breakfast and cereal, dairy, eggs & cheese, frozen foods, etc.  This made the process faster.  Then I went shopping and my receipt shows I saved 42%!
