Me pasó varias veces :)
  • Resistente a bajas temperaturas max. -10ºC  (14 ºF)

ENGLISH

I have a new love!  No, it’s not a person.   No, it’s not a pet, it’s something small, fits in almost any purse or pocket, is super resistant, easy to use and it captures my family beautifully.   Can you guess what it is?

I’ve been using a new camera for the last three weeks and I’m loving it.  It is so cool even my kids want to “play” with it.  Usually I say no (to such request) but this camera is resistant to water, cold, sand, and falls, so I said, “why not?”   My kids are already developing some photography skills (I’m the mom, what can I say?)  and I love to see how they see things. :)    Let me show you some pics taken by my 2 year old:

Isn’t it fun?  Let me tell you a little bit more about the Fujifilm FinePix XP10

  • Waterproof up to 3m underwater
  • Shockproof, it can survive a 1 m (3.3 ft.) fall
  • Freezeproof, great for winter activities (max. -10ºC) 14 ºF
  • Dustproof, yes, we are talking beaches and outdoors!
  • Incorporates 5x Zoom lens, 12 megapixels and image stability
  • Of course it takes video
  • More than 15 shooting modes
  • Easy editing & easy web uploading to youtube, facebook and blogs!
  • And more!

There are lots of things I love about this camera, I will mention three, I love the shooting mode where I take one picture but the camera takes it twice, one with flash and one without, isn’t that cool?   The FinePix XP10 comes with a battery charger, and is so easy to use even a 2 year old can do it!!  It’s so small it takes almost no space in my purse so I can take it everywhere.  Well, I guess that’s  4 things, o well, I got carried away!   This is just a perfect little camera for moms!!

Also may make bloggers happy :)   I took it on my trip to BlogHer and everyone who took a picture of my friends and me with it asked, “what kind of camera is this?”  It was pretty funny.

I have learned that this camera could actually go to all the places I want to take family pictures without fear of damaging it, or ruining or losing all the shots. I have bought many disposible cameras over the course of years to protect our camera investments.

No doubt I would benefit from it being protected from dust, shock and water, but I don’t do freezing. Still if I ever did, I would have the camera that could handle it.

The giveaway model has protection from the harmful effects of water, dust, shock and freezing temperature, which is great for my rainy seattle weather. I worry about the cameras I own being damaged by rain and cold weather.

I worry about my camera when I try to take pictures in the rain, and so I rarely do. I learned this camera could handle it. And I wouldn’t be a nervous wreck when my daughter uses it.
